Our Caravan is located at Golden Anchor, at Chapel St Leonards on the Lincolnshire coast, just 6 miles from Skegness and 11 miles from Mablethorpe, which makes it perfect for your caravan holiday. The caravan is double glazed and is fitted with central heating, shower and toilet. It features a double bedroom with en suite and Freeview TV and a Twin Bedroom There is a further pull out double bed in the Lounge area.

The lounge area has an electric flame effect fire, a flat screen TV with Freesat and Freeview and DVD player plus a CD / Radio player and a small selection of DVD`s.& Books, There is also an electric fan for those hot days, and just in case you forget yours, we also provide a hair dryer. The Lounge Has been Refurbished for 2014 with new Carpet, Blinds & Seating

In the kitchen area there is a microwave, toaster, kettle, all the usual pots and pans that you will need, a fridge with a small freezer compartment, and a full size gas cooker. There is also a tap for filtered drinking water, an iron and ironing board and a vacuum cleaner.

When you arrive, we will give you a personal welcome and you will find milk, tea, coffee and sugar and a pack of biscuits so that you can have a drink straight away - great after a long journey. We'll even have the kettle on ready for you! Your beds will be made up for you on arrival

There's nothing worse than spending the first night of your holiday in a cold caravan, so we'll also make sure the caravan is warm for you on those cooler days.

Cleaning materials are provided, including washing up liquid, sponges, toilet rolls, and hand wash, along with towels and bedding.

Outside the caravan there is a storage shed which is fitted with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a fridge freezer. There's also enough space if your thinking of bringing a bike or for charging a mobility scooter battery. And There`s Evan A Barbacue.

There is also a New raised decking area, great for sitting out on those warm summer evenings with a glass of your favourite tipple.

New For The 2015 Season we are installing a private wifi service, providing our customers with superfast broadband ( The 3g service in the area is very poor )

2 new major attractions are due to open in Skegness in 2015, The skegness skytower building on the seafront and the new sefront skegness aquarium.

The caravan is very close to the beach. A short walk away on Trunch Lane you will find a selection of shops, cafes, bars and amusement arcades plus a small supermarket. A little further down the road is Golden Palm Resort, operated by the same company and you are welcome to use the facilities. These include Crazy Golf, Children's outdoor play area with swings, gift shop and selection of takeaways.

Also located at Golden Palm about 10 minutes walk away is the Club Tropicana & Swimming pool, You can obtain a weekly pass (or pay as you go) for the Club and or the Pool.

The Club Tropicana is A 2000 seat superb entertainment venue, with live music and top shows every night of the main season. Cash Bingo is also played. .Note that there are a number of special shows during the season that are ticket only entry. During early or late season entertainment may be limited. There are so many things to see and do along this part of the Lincolnshire Coast. 3 Miles away is the Fantasy Island theme park at Ingoldmells and the largest open air market in Europe that is open 7 days a week in high season. There are also many shops, amusements and cafes. A little further along the road is Butlins Skegness, and they are open for day visits on most days. You will find a book with discount vouchers for many attractions in the caravan. Please note though that some offers are not valid at certain times so you should check voucher validity dates before use as we cannot accept any liability for voucher refusal. Skegness is the main town on the coast with the pier, many shops, restaurants, amusement parks, and Natureland which includes the Sealife Seal Sanctuary.

Entertainment venues include Tower Cinema and The Embassy Theatre. Close by there is Hardy's Animal Farm, Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve and Skegness Stadium. Parrot Zoo.

If your stay with us is from late August to October, why not have a look at Skegness illuminations which are on every night.

The nearest Railway Station is Skegness, If you plan to arrive by Public Transport then give Roy a call and we can pick you up From the Skegness Interchange . A Megarider Weekly Bus Ticket costs £12.50 and allows unlimited travel from Chapel St Leonards to Skegness, including Ingoldmells and Fantasy Island. Tickets can be bought from the bus driver or in advance from the Stagecoach website.

If you like Fishing there is a lake not far from the site at lakeside, where you will also find remote control mini boats , a boating lake and a few amusements & cafe during the main season all within walking distance of Golden anchor You can arrive as early as 1pm, when we will hand over the keys and show you the caravan to make sure your happy with everything.Security Bond: Like many private owners, Chapel Caravan requires a security bond of £50 is added to the cost of your hire, This is then returned to you after your caravan holiday unless there is any damage or extensive cleaning is required.

Comments:LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR STAY, THE CARAVAN WAS EXCELLENT AND HAD ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED AND MUCH MORE. MY 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER LOVED THE INTERNET AND THE DVD'S PROVIDED, CARAVAN IS A 2 MINUTE WALK TO THE BEACH, EXCELLENT LOCATION FOR A NICE STROLL TO TRUNCH LANE AND INGOLDMELLS THEME PARK, 15 MINUTE DRIVE TO SKEGNESS.BRILLIANT FOR ALL AGES. THANKS ROY AND EILEEN FOR EVERYTHING, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK, WE LOVED IT, THANKS SO MUCH :O) X
